Join me as we explore the world of money and money mindset while also paving the way for a lasting legacy that extends far beyond money. Together we'll eliminate stress, amplify freedom, and ensure you stop paying for your past so you can start saving for your future. If you're seeking peace in your finances, more margin in your budget, and a legacy that inspires generations to come, you're in the right place. Happy Thanksgiving accelerators. Welcome to this very, very short episode of the podcast on this day of celebration that is focused specifically on things we are thankful for. I wanted to talk about gratitude and how it affects the body. You see, a person's mindset also affects the biochemistry inside of your body. This seems crazy, but your mindset affects your body affects your outcome. So, there was a study done at UC Davis that, the associate Robert and he wrote that gratitude blocks toxic emotions, such as envy, resentment, regret and depression, which can destroy our happiness. But here is the crazy thing. My friend, the practice of gratitude has a dramatic and lasting effect on the person's life. Where it lowers blood pressure, improves immune function, and facilitates more efficient sleep. Gratitude can reduce lifetime risk of depression, anxiety, and substance abuse disorders. And it's also a key resiliency factor in the prevention of suicide. My friends. It is very important to be grateful, not only for your money, but also for the other areas of your life. It affects the biochemistry in your body. So be grateful. Please, please, please be grateful today. Think about it this way. The way your brain receives gratitude, it's kind of like having a parking spot in your brain. The same receptor in your brain that accepts gratitude is also the same receptor that accepts. Depression regret and envy. If you park your grateful car into this parking spot, the other things can't get in the envy. The resentment can't get in. So when you feel these negative emotions, stop and be grateful because it takes those negative emotions out of that receptor and puts in gratitude, puts in that happy feeling that lowers cholesterol and reduces stress. I want you to sit down on this day of gratitude. I want you to sit down and write down 7 things that you are grateful for and if you are up for an additional challenge, I would love to see if you can fill an entire page full of things that you're grateful for. What I'm going to do is anybody that sends me in a list of things they are grateful for, you don't have to show me all of it. It could be blurred out if you don't want me to see all of the specifics, but write down the things you're grateful for. And if you will send me in a list, the person whose list is the longest. I'm going to send you something I'm going to take money out of my own pocket and send you a gift because you've taken the time to be so grateful. I am incredibly grateful to you. I am so thankful that you are here and you are listening to this podcast. I hope actually that you aren't listening to this on actual Thanksgiving and that you have time with your friends and your family, but. I'm so thankful that you're listening at all.
